In the dark Times is a expansive fashion editorial series for Dust Magazine, showcasing a rigorous approach to contemporary styling and silhouette. Captured through the lens of photographer Adam Peter Johnson, the project employs a disciplined minimalist aesthetic to frame avant-garde layering and bold, primary-hued apparel. The visual language oscillates between high-key, stark studio portraits and moody, low-key chiaroscuro compositions, creating a distinct graphic tension throughout the series. The project features deliberate styling by fashion editor Pau Avia, who juxtaposes heavy textures—such as leather, faux fur, and tactile knitwear—with clean-lined, structured tailoring. Hair by Sebastien Richard and makeup by Thierry Do Nascimento maintain a polished, refined finish that supports the editorial’s focus on geometry and form, with casting directed by Ben Grimes.
