Can I See Your Telescope? is an editorial fashion series for Dust Magazine that explores the tension between shadow and detail. Captured by photographer Bella Newman, the work utilizes low-key lighting and chiaroscuro techniques to define the contours of the subjects against deep, nocturnal backgrounds. The imagery relies on a moody, analogue aesthetic, marked by visible film grain and deliberate tonal contrast. Models Axel Hermann and Yasmin Wijnaldum anchor the series, appearing in textured ensembles that shift from formal metallic accessories and tiaras to utilitarian layering. The project features casting by Emma Matell, with hair styling by Nero and makeup artistry by Marcelo Gutierrez.
