Courrèges
Spring 2024 Ad Campaign

Feb 2024
The Courrèges Spring 2024 ad campaign represents a masterclass in editorial minimalism, stripping away traditional background clutter to place the collection’s structural integrity at center stage. Under the creative direction of Nicolas Di Felice, the project channels a surreal, collage-like aesthetic that challenges conventional fashion portraiture. Renowned photographer David Sims executes this vision through sharp, high-contrast compositions, utilizing studio strobe techniques to isolate models against stark, expansive white canvases. This negative space becomes a structural tool, allowing the viewer to engage with the garment’s silhouettes—defined by circular cutouts and rich, light-catching textures—alongside the dynamic, windswept presence of models such as Anok Yai and Loli Bahia. The campaign feels calculated yet ethereal, leaning into a graphic, layered narrative where body and accessory are fragmented and reassembled in mid-air. With sophisticated styling by Marie Chaix and meticulous grooming by Duffy and Lucia Pieroni, the imagery bridges the gap between raw commercial utility and high-fashion art. By playing with scale and surreal, floating perspectives, the work elevates standard product presentation into a compelling visual language. This project captures the essence of a modern luxury fashion house, proving that when the noise is removed, the intersection of fluid movement and sharp, monochromatic design creates a powerful and enduring impact on the contemporary fashion landscape.
