Commonplace
Brand Identity

Nov 2023
Commonplace introduces its brand identity through a comprehensive visual system that bridges urban architecture and community engagement. The design language centres on clean typography and a monochromatic palette, accented by pale green highlights, to ground the identity in modern, impact-oriented development. Execution spans across static outdoor advertising, large-scale construction site banners, and tactile touchpoints including branded hard hats and commemorative stationery. Creative production for the identity was led by graphic design studio newkid, with website development handled by Six. The project’s visual presence in the urban environment is captured through documentary-style photography by Clarissa Bonet, who emphasizes the intersection of stark geometric shadows and contemporary minimalist design. The identity maintains a consistent, industrial aesthetic, utilizing 3D render techniques to define its physical product applications.
