Description

Coca-Cola’s Balikbayan Magic is a commercial campaign that explores themes of cultural heritage and family connection during the holiday season. The project centers on an international student sharing personal traditions, using a documentary-style approach to frame her narrative. Produced with an emphasis on intimate storytelling, the film utilizes live-action techniques and warm color grading to build an inviting atmosphere. The visual aesthetic is marked by clean framing and natural light, complemented by cutaway sequences of shipping transit elements. Creative direction for the project was provided by VML Canada, with production services by Untitled Films. Post-production and VFX were handled by Fort York VFX, featuring editorial work from School Editing Inc. and sound design by TA2 Sound and Music.
