Chanel Eclat Premier

May 2026
Chanel Fragrances & Beauty leans into a polished, high-end aesthetic with the Eclat Premier campaign, a masterclass in editorial minimalism and brand identity. By blending precise commercial product photography with intimate portraiture, the project explores the interplay between natural luminosity and synthetic luxury. Photographer and director Nicolas Kantor brings a sophisticated, controlled eye to the series, utilizing studio strobe techniques and high-key lighting to maintain a pristine, clinical crispness across every frame. The visuals feature Nana Komatsu as the primary talent, whose natural, clean makeup look—perfected by artist Manu Kopp—underscores the campaign’s focus on clear, radiant skin. Styled by Virginie Benarroch, the imagery incorporates metallic accents and architectural branding that ground the abstract macro shots of fluid dynamics and organic flora within a premium skincare narrative. The deliberate choice of macro photography and high-key backgrounds allows the texture of the Eclat Premier cream to stand out against the stark, white-space compositions. By stripping away visual noise, the campaign highlights the brand's heritage through a contemporary lens, effectively positioning its skincare range as a blend of raw, organic purity and refined, modern elegance. This synergy of talent, including hair styling by Karim Belghiran and manicures by Laura Forget, ensures the campaign feels both cohesive and aspirational, perfectly capturing the essence of the Eclat Premier line through expert creative execution.
