Solar is a fashion editorial series for Acne Paper that explores the interaction between the human form and architectural abstraction. Captured by photographer Paul Kooiker under the creative direction of Thomas Persson, the project leans into a warm, sepia-toned monochromatic aesthetic that prioritizes sculptural silhouettes and tactile surfaces. The series features minimalist studio environments where dynamic, often surreal poses are accentuated by directional lighting and deep shadows. Fashion editor Beat Bolliger shapes the visual narrative with complex layering, structured garments, and avant-garde accessories.
