Acne Paper presents Gildpunk, a narrative-driven fashion editorial that bridges historical theatricality with futuristic, raw aesthetics. The project features a series of portraits captured by photographer Julia Hetta, utilizing low-key chiaroscuro lighting to explore the interplay between organic and industrial textures. The imagery is marked by a deliberate use of analogue film, grounding the avant-garde costuming—which incorporates metallic hardware, circuit boards, and sculptural glass elements—in a painterly, moody atmosphere. Creative execution was supported by hair stylist Ali Pirzadeh and makeup artist Ignacio Alonso, who developed an intricate beauty aesthetic ranging from slicked-back hair woven with electrical components to stark, pale face makeup. Models Anna Juvander, Iekeliene Stange, and Maja Slawinska are featured throughout, navigating a setting defined by rich, desaturated palettes and textured studio backdrops.
