JOEL FORMAN contrasts the dark and androgynous with the soft and elegant to create directional looks. His work is inspired by the history of fashion, punk, and classic, minimal shapes. Joel was exposed to hairdressing from a young age through his father. After working and training in salons he found his purpose in fashion, assisting the world’s leading hair stylists over show seasons in Europe. His career has seen him work with the industry’s top creatives, connecting with them to identify themes and tell stories with intent. Joel brings an energy and vitality to every brief. He references the past with a deep understanding of culture, differentiating it from what it was into what it could be. JOEL FORMAN has collaborated with Bottega Veneta, Carla Zampatti, Country Road, Cotton On, Ksubi, Maggie Marilyn, Mecca, Matin, Logitech, R.M.Williams, and SIR.
