"Children of the Sky" Spring 2025 Ad Campaign

Apr 2025
Zomer’s Children of the Sky Spring 2025 ad campaign serves as a masterclass in visual storytelling, grounding the luxury fashion house’s avant-garde identity in the visceral landscape of Diani Beach, Kenya. Under the meticulous art direction of Lina Kutsovkaya and the lens of photographer Viviane Sassen, the campaign transcends traditional lookbooks to become a study in geometric tension and chromatic vibrancy. The imagery leverages natural light to heighten the contrast between the saturated, architectural garments and the bleached, high-key white sands. Through a series of editorial lifestyle shots, the collection is brought to life by dynamic compositions featuring human pyramids and sculptural formations that emphasize both athleticism and grace. Stylist Imruh Asha introduces a tactile dimension to the narrative through the use of voluminous silhouettes and abstract floral prints, while hair and makeup artist Jamie Kimani pushes the aesthetic boundary with bold, high-contrast applications. The project moves fluidly between cinematic, drone-captured wide shots and intimate, flash-lit portraits set against dense foliage, successfully grounding Zomer’s sculptural clothing in both serene coastal environments and dark, mysterious woods. With casting by Varian Casting and seamless production oversight from Rachel Evans, the campaign functions as a cohesive exploration of movement, unity, and raw texture. This project encapsulates an editorial minimalism that feels both grounded in its Kenyan location and distinctly elevated, marking a significant, evocative chapter for the Zomer brand.
