Good 4 U

Jun 2026
In the vibrant editorial feature Good 4 U for Dazed Magazine, the intersection of high fashion and athletic culture is explored through a lens of surrealism and movement. Photographer Mark Peckmezian masterfully captures this tension, placing high-end luxury garments—characterized by voluminous tulle, intricate textures, and avant-garde silhouettes—directly onto the unlikeliest of runways: the soccer pitch. Under the creative vision of Fashion Director Imruh Asha, the project elevates the aesthetic by juxtaposing the delicate, layered fabrics of evening gowns against the grounded, high-contrast environment of a manicured sports field. The narrative thrives on dynamic energy, utilizing a high-speed freeze technique to suspend models in mid-air or mid-stride, effectively blurring the lines between elite sports and high-concept editorial minimalism. Key creative contributions from hair stylist Christian Eberhard and makeup artist Rebecca Wordingham ensure that the sleek, modern styling remains cohesive across the diverse cast, which includes Elodie Souverain, Jolène Jansen, and Peng Chang. Utilizing soft natural light to enhance the saturated, warm color palette, the shoot leans into a performative quality where red cards and soccer balls become sophisticated props. This project successfully bridges the gap between the rigid structures of the fashion world and the fluid, spontaneous nature of athletics, resulting in a visually arresting lifestyle narrative that feels both performative and deeply grounded.
