Zara Man - 90's Archive

Feb 2026
Zara leans into the quiet, melancholic cool of the decade that defined modern minimalism with its latest campaign, Zara Man - 90's Archive. The project captures an evocative, nostalgic mood, effectively channeling the raw authenticity of archival fashion photography through a series of carefully composed portraits and lifestyle scenes. Under the guidance of creative director Gorka Sorozabal and the art direction of Juan Medina, the imagery moves away from high-gloss artifice to embrace a grounded, cinematic tone. Photographer Bruno Staub expertly utilizes natural light to highlight the tactile qualities of the collection, from the rich, worn-in texture of suede and leather jackets to the relaxed drape of light-wash denim. Featuring models Clément Laguardia and Valentin Caron, the series finds its pulse at the intersection of urban life and intimate observation, with the cafe settings lending a deliberate, pensive stillness to the frame. The editorial composition is further refined by the deliberate set design of Laura Jauregui, which grounds the project in a tangible, lived-in reality. By stripping back the noise and focusing on sharp tailoring and classic silhouettes, the campaign succeeds in feeling both timeless and distinctly contemporary. It is a masterclass in mood-setting, proving that the most resonant fashion stories are often those that value subtlety, texture, and a sense of genuine, unhurried ease.
