Zara’s editorial project, Rolf, explores high street fashion through a series of monochrome studio portraits. Photographed by David Portela, the work emphasizes structural silhouettes and textures, ranging from heavy fur and metallic jackets to draped silk and structured denim. The imagery utilizes high-contrast and low-key lighting to isolate the subjects against neutral backdrops, favoring clean, minimalist compositions. Jurgen Braun provided makeup artistry for the series, which features Rolf in a variety of expressive poses. The project leans into editorial techniques, utilizing clean framing and analogue film aesthetics to highlight garment detailing and accessory styling.
