West Village Partnership
Brand Identity

Mar 2026
The West Village Partnership brand identity project serves as a masterclass in urban placemaking, transforming the iconic neighborhood into a cohesive and vibrant visual ecosystem. Designed by the team at Saint-Urbain, the identity leans into a bold, geometric aesthetic that captures the rhythmic energy of city life while remaining rooted in its distinct historic character. The execution utilizes high-impact color blocking, pairing playful pinks and magentas with earthy browns and greens to mirror the neighborhood's mix of foliage, brick architecture, and bustling street culture. This commercial project encompasses a wide range of applications, from large-scale street banners and construction site hoardings to functional corporate assets like waste collection vehicles and lifestyle merchandise. The typography strategy plays a central role, utilizing a crisp sans-serif font that communicates modernity while maintaining accessibility. Through a meticulous use of vector graphic design and deliberate natural light photography, the branding feels both professional and deeply integrated into the daily experience of the local community. By layering human-centric messaging like Bloom, Play, Village with sharp, versatile iconography, the identity fosters a sense of collective pride. With additional motion work by Oli Sabin and 3D precision from Javier Rosant, the project successfully elevates local business branding into a sophisticated, unified visual language that celebrates the creative spirit of New York City in every possible detail.
