Brand Identity

Apr 2024
This comprehensive brand identity project for the Space Trash Signs initiative explores orbital mechanics and the growing density of satellite debris. The work centers on advanced data visualization, translating complex telemetry and space-tracking information into a cohesive aesthetic that spans UI illustration, motion graphics, and 3D CGI rendering. Across both static graphic panels and dynamic digital interfaces, the identity maintains a dark, futuristic tone defined by precise technical schematics, constellation mapping, and layered HUD elements. The project was developed through a collaboration between creative partners including Serviceplan and Serviceplan Innovation, who provided overall creative direction, alongside Moby Digg, Eat, Sleep + Design, and Owls Department. The visual narrative relies on a polished, high-contrast aesthetic—utilizing monochrome tones and deep starfield backgrounds to frame intricate data points. Additional technical depth was provided by Hendrik Sommerfeld through motion design, Non Zero in CGI production, and Michael Clasen on type design, with atmospheric sound design delivered by Jürgen Branz and Christoph Groß.
