The Travel Almanac presents "When in Rome," a sophisticated fashion editorial that captures a timeless, cinematic narrative through the lens of photographer Théo de Gueltzl. Featuring model Mariacarla Boscono, the project explores a dialogue between historic silhouettes and contemporary avant-garde design, utilizing classical stone architecture as a recurring backdrop. The series leans into a mood-heavy, editorial aesthetic, blending analogue film textures with natural light to create depth. Stylist Clare Byrne curates an array of structured lace ruffs, iridescent paillettes, and minimalist silhouettes, while hair stylist Ramona Eschbach and makeup artist Ammy Drammeh contribute intricate, sculpted finger waves and polished beauty details. Casting by Bert Martirosyan rounds out the production, resulting in a cohesive visual study that bridges heritage and modern form.
