For their 'When in Rome' feature, The Travel Almanac delivers a visually arresting fashion editorial that leans into classical European motifs and architectural textures. Captured by photographer Théo de Gueltzl, the series frames model Mariacarla Boscono against the backdrop of historic stone terraces and moody, light-drenched interiors. The aesthetic utilizes monochrome grades and soft natural light to highlight the intricate styling of Clare Byrne, who pairs avant-garde silhouettes—including Elizabethan-inspired ruffs and sculptural cocoon dresses—with delicate, tactile fabrics. This editorial relies on precise, analogue-style photography and a focus on mood, complemented by the sculpted hair work of Ramona Eschbach and refined makeup by Ammy Drammeh.
