For The Travel Almanac Issue 26, photographer Thue Nørgaard delivers a expansive fashion editorial that explores the tension between sculptural silhouette and raw, urban texture. Working under the creative direction of Paul Kominek, the series shifts between minimalist studio compositions against neutral seamless backdrops and dynamic, windblown outdoor portraiture. The imagery is marked by a rigorous attention to avant-garde layering, where deconstructed tailoring and high-contrast textiles—ranging from sheer organza to faux fur and denim—are brought to the fore. Fashion editor and stylist Anastasia Barbieri leads a complex visual narrative that leans into monochromatic palettes and vibrant, saturated accents.
