Conceived under the creative direction of Paul Kominek, the project channels a distinctively stark aesthetic, leaning into the sharp interplay of light and shadow through high-contrast black and white photography. Captured by photographer Robin Galiegue, the series features model Jacqui Hooper in a succession of minimalist studio environments that prioritize architectural silhouettes over ornate settings. By utilizing techniques ranging from soft, directional studio strobe lighting to dramatic, low-key chiaroscuro, the images emphasize the tactile nature of quilted bodices, ribbed knits, and glossy patent leathers. The styling, curated by Virginie Benarroch, anchors the project in a realm of elevated luxury fashion, where small, human details like tattoos and cigarettes offer a candid counterpoint to the rigid, structured garments.
