For The Travel Almanac, 'Between the Marshes' presents a dual-toned editorial narrative that oscillates between raw, rural landscapes and minimalist studio portraiture. Photographer Sam Khoury captures model Ivy Stewart across a series of contrasting environments, moving from overgrown meadows and gritty industrial backdrops to stark, clean-walled interiors. Fashion editor and stylist Claudia Sinclair leans into a retro-inspired aesthetic, pairing structured, textured outerwear with avant-garde accents. The project balances the atmospheric, grainy quality of monochrome outdoor shots—often relying on natural light—with the polished, soft-lit precision of the studio work.
