Tekla collaborated with Jamie XX for the 'In Waves' project, resulting in a black and white film centered on expressive choreography. The piece features dancers in striped robes and dark apparel, moving against a stark, minimalist white studio backdrop. Utilizing a monochrome aesthetic and cinematic live-action technique, the film focuses on the interplay between the structured garments and the dancers' movement. Post-production and VFX were completed by Wild Island Films, with high-contrast grading used to highlight the rhythmic precision of the performance.
