Purple Magazine’s Melides Art project presents a series of fashion editorials captured by photographer Mark Borthwick. The editorial work places model Laura Ponte within a woodland landscape, juxtaposing the raw textures of pine forests and sandy terrain against clean, rectangular white monoliths. The imagery employs a consistent analogue film aesthetic, utilizing natural light to create soft-focus effects and distinct grain patterns. Featuring styling by Laëtitia Gimenez Adam, the series incorporates sculptural garments and layered outerwear, often presented through diptychs and split-frame compositions that emphasize an organic, nostalgic mood. The production was supported by hair styling from Pawel Solis, makeup by Sara Fonseca, and casting direction by Simone Schofer.
