Description

Touch Grass is a comprehensive fashion editorial series for PUBLIC Editions, capturing a range of contemporary styling through an observational lens. The project leans into a clean, analogue-influenced aesthetic, alternating between minimalist studio environments and textured urban street scenes. Photographer Emily Lipson collaborates with fashion editor Marie-Therese Haustein to build a narrative that emphasizes tactile details, from layered knitwear and leather to sheer fabrics and denim. The production utilizes varied framing techniques—including surreal magnification and intimate, candid interactions—to elevate the presentation of apparel. With hair styling by Yoko Setoyama and makeup by Marie Dufresne, the imagery maintains a consistent, polished look that balances soft natural light with precise studio compositions. Casting by Emilie Åström and set design by Sophear Van Froment support a production that highlights sculptural forms and diverse, relaxed portraiture.
