PUBLIC Editions Dutch Tailgate 2025

About

Dutch Tailgate is a fashion editorial series for PUBLIC Editions that explores a raw, textural approach to contemporary styling. Captured by photographer Mitchell O'Neil, the project moves between industrial, transit-focused environments and minimalist studio settings, employing a moody, analogue film aesthetic that leans into gritty monochrome and desaturated tones. Fashion editor and stylist Alex Assil defines the collection's look, which blends layered street-inspired garments with sculptural accessories and distressed denim. The editorial features models Summer Dirx and Jakob Zimmer, with casting directed by Benedikt Hetz and Piotr Chamier. Beauty execution, including hair by Yoko Setoyama and makeup by Suzanne Verberk, maintains an intimate, low-key intensity throughout the series.
