Proenza Schouler
Spring 2024 Ad Campaign

Jan 2024
For the Proenza Schouler Spring 2024 ad campaign, the brand leans into a rigorous sense of editorial minimalism that prioritizes the intersection of structured tailoring and raw, authentic presence. Captured by photographer Davit Giorgadze, the campaign features Pamela Anderson as the central talent, stripping away extraneous noise to focus on a palette of soft blues, crisp whites, and bold reds. The visual language relies heavily on natural light and controlled studio strobe environments to highlight the clean lines of the garments, from tailored black blazers to intricate, open-weave mesh dresses. Under the creative direction of Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, the series maintains a symmetrical, centered composition that channels a classic high-end fashion aesthetic. Stylist Thistle Brown expertly juxtaposes sharp, formal outerwear with playful textures, while the cohesive hair by Karim Belghiran and understated makeup by Cyndle Komarovski ensure the focus remains on the interplay between the subject and the clothing. By utilizing a minimalist backdrop, the imagery feels both timeless and undeniably modern, effectively framing the collection through a stark, deliberate lens. The result is a refined commercial narrative that feels intimate yet commanding, proving that when the art of the portrait is executed with this level of precision, the clothes speak for themselves without the need for unnecessary artifice or location-based distraction.
