Post Post Brand Identity 2025

About

The brand identity for Post Post Hotel, located in Bad Hofgastein, Austria, establishes a visual language rooted in historical alpine tradition and contemporary graphic design. Developed as a comprehensive system, the project integrates custom typography, minimalist iconography, and tactile print materials to reflect the establishment’s heritage dating to 1421. Studio Bruch led the design, utilizing a recurring motif of two figures on horseback alongside a serif-heavy font family. The project incorporates diverse creative techniques, ranging from vector-style animation to traditional painterly textures and oil painting influences. Print assets, crafted by Infinitive Factory, utilise high-quality paper stocks from G . F Smith and Colorplan, featuring die-cut windows, embossing, and debossing. Photography by Julius Hirtzberger and Ina Weiss captures these elements within the physical environment, placing graphic collateral against warm wooden interiors and alpine landscapes. Florian Mondl executed the motion work, while Daniel Triendl provided illustration for the brand's graphic assets. The resulting identity balances a minimalist aesthetic with earthy, rustic tones, successfully bridging historical context with a modern, clean visual presentation.
