Description

Pirate’s brand identity project establishes a visual language centered on high-contrast typography and utilitarian design. Across outdoor murals, wheat-pasted posters, and interior signage, the system utilizes a stark black-and-white palette to anchor its presence within urban environments. The work leans into a raw, industrial aesthetic, documenting studio locations through site-specific graphic integration and editorial photography. Executed with contributions from Only on graphic design and Marcus Ginns on photography, the identity emphasizes clean, bold communication. Techniques including long exposure photography and analogue film processes frame the brand’s expansion, connecting local venues in cities like London, Los Angeles, and Berlin through a unified, minimalist lens.
