Paspaley’s short film, Behind The Lens, establishes an atmospheric narrative through a series of composed encounters. Featuring dialogue between a man in glasses and a woman adorned in pearl earrings, the project leans into a suspenseful tone set against a thatched backdrop. The film utilises moody lighting and dramatic framing to ground its visual identity. This live-action production, developed in collaboration with Special Group Sydney, Rabbit, and Stink Films, captures intimate character moments and specific details, including a script and a yellow notebook, to build its cinematic perspective.
