Description

The Kimberley project for Paspaley is a jewellery fashion campaign that captures the organic beauty of South Sea pearls against the rugged, sun-drenched landscape of the Australian coast. Photographed by Nick Leary, the series leans into a raw and aspirational aesthetic, utilizing natural light and the golden hour to accentuate the lustrous surfaces of the pearls. The campaign features layered styling by Nichhia Wippell, which juxtaposes fine jewellery with varied textures including sheer gowns, swimwear, and structured tailoring. Through a clean and editorial approach, the visuals focus on intimate portraiture and group compositions, enhanced by Richard Kavanagh’s wet-look hair styling and Victoria Baron’s warm, natural makeup. The imagery makes frequent use of analogue film techniques to create a cohesive, earthy atmosphere.
