SOCIAL READY-TO-WEAR
Date

Oct 2024

Description

Net-A-Porter’s Social Ready-to-Wear project is a comprehensive fashion editorial series showcasing a diverse selection of seasonal garments. The collection leans into clean, minimalist aesthetics, focusing on structured tailoring, leather textures, and precise garment silhouettes. Featuring model Bebe Parnell, the imagery balances sharp studio portraiture with atmospheric, gritty architectural backdrops to highlight the versatility of the apparel. Photographer Mitchell O'Neil employs natural light to accentuate the rich textures of the collection, often utilizing high-key lighting for studio shots and directional light for exterior settings. The editorial incorporates a range of techniques, including analogue film elements and macro detailing, to emphasize the materiality of the accessories and footwear. Fashion styling by Kristen Neillie, paired with hair by Claire Grech and makeup by Mel Arter, grounds the project in a cohesive, polished visual language.
