Surreal Tension is a fashion editorial feature for Mirror Mirror Magazine, exploring avant-garde silhouettes and sculptural garment design. Through a series of highly composed portraits, the project leans into themes of theatricality and objectification, merging high-contrast monochrome studies with warm, opulent interior photography. Photographer Alina Gross directs the visual narrative, which uses architectural details and metallic accents to build a sense of heightened, otherworldly poise. Editor Georgette Koning provides the creative styling that defines the project’s distinct aesthetic.
