Surreal Tension is an editorial fashion series produced for Mirror Mirror Magazine. Photographed by Alina Gross with styling editing by Georgette Koning, the project explores the interplay between avant-garde structural design and opulent, historic interiors. The series features a range of experimental silhouettes, from metallic molded corsetry and wire-sculpted headpieces to garments defined by high-contrast geometric grids. The work leans into a moody and tactile aesthetic, utilizing both warm ambient lighting and sharp flash to highlight textures like glossy satin, polished gold, and carved woodwork. Through precise vertical compositions, the project balances classical grandeur with a contemporary, provocative edge.
