Massimo Dutti
NOTES FROM MARRAKECH

Feb 2026
Massimo Dutti transports the viewer to the sun-drenched landscapes of North Africa in Notes From Marrakech, a refined fashion campaign that masterfully blends the house's signature luxury aesthetic with a raw, travel-inspired sensibility. By leaning into an editorial approach, the project captures the quiet synergy between high-end garment textures—specifically tactile suedes and structured knitwear—and the rugged, earth-toned backdrop of the Moroccan desert. Photographer Ed Martin opts for natural light throughout, utilizing soft, diffuse conditions to highlight the nuanced fabric volumes and clean silhouettes modeled by Apolline Rocco Fohrer. This choice of illumination, paired with a focus on portraiture, imbues each image with a documentary-style intimacy that elevates the apparel beyond mere seasonal clothing. Fashion Editor and Stylist Vito Castelo coordinates a palette of neutrals and subtle stripes, ensuring the aesthetic remains grounded in a relaxed yet sophisticated minimalism. The deliberate use of shallow depth of field creates a sense of profound calm, allowing the interplay of mud-plaster architecture and arid horizons to frame the narrative. With casting direction by Ander Gaztelu and subtle, polished beauty touches from makeup artist Sonia Pena, the campaign succeeds in crafting a cohesive visual language that reads as both timeless and deeply aspirational, perfectly encapsulating the brand's commitment to quiet luxury and worldly elegance.
