Marni’s Magic Mountain 2025 collection presents a vibrant exploration of winter layering, captured in a campaign that merges alpine motifs with contemporary studio editorial aesthetics. Photographer Ryan Simo leans into a graphic, high-contrast visual language, utilizing bold geometric overlays and stylized painted backdrops that evoke a playful, mountain-inspired narrative. The series features direction by Matei Octav and art direction by Sergio Cattivelli, who work to juxtapose textured knitwear, puffer jackets, and corduroy accessories against minimalist settings. The campaign relies on a clean, bright studio lighting approach to emphasize the tactile quality of the materials, from wool and denim to fur-trimmed leather pieces. Featuring model Modou Wade alongside a wider cast, the production integrates sculptural props and hand-painted landscapes to ground the collection's high-fashion intent.
