Maison Mihara Yasuhiro
Fall 2025 Ad Campaign

Aug 2025
The Maison Mihara Yasuhiro Fall 2025 ad campaign is a masterclass in avant-garde luxury fashion, blending high-concept editorial minimalism with an unexpected, playful edge. Captured through the lens of photographer Jumbo Tsui and orchestrated by director and stylist Yukari Ota, the campaign leans into the brand's signature aesthetic of distorted silhouettes and tactile experimentation. Set against a backdrop of desaturated industrial landscapes and stark, neutral studio environments, the visuals emphasize the complex layering of fuzzy textures, distressed denim, and oversized tailoring that defines the collection. A recurring motif of whimsical, miniature animal figurines and surreal props creates a striking juxtaposition against the raw, urban settings, grounding the high-fashion imagery in a uniquely approachable, conceptual space. The technical execution relies heavily on soft natural light to highlight the intricate fabric choices, while the occasional use of studio strobe enhances the sculptural quality of the footwear, specifically the brand's iconic warped-sole sneakers. By balancing meticulous commercial composition with a candid lifestyle sensibility, the project achieves a distinctive narrative flow. This collection is a visual dialogue between utility and artifice, where structured bomber jackets and voluminous trench coats meet fishnet detailing and vibrant, quilted platform boots, ultimately reinforcing the label's reputation for subversive design within the modern luxury fashion landscape.
