Captured for Modern Weekly China, this fashion editorial titled EXTERIOR I INTERIOR JA NO VOLEN DIR RES explores the interplay between architectural form and wearable texture. Creative director and photographer Jumbo Tsui utilises soft natural light to bridge the gap between stark interior vignettes and rigid urban environments. The project relies on clean composition and a minimalist aesthetic to highlight structural sartorial choices. Featuring model Amar Akway, the series moves from domestic settings—characterised by deliberate still-life tableaus—to textured outdoor surfaces. The photography utilises techniques such as analogue film and warm-toned framing to create a distinct, grounded atmosphere. Production was managed by Julien Pegourier, with casting by Svea Greichgauer and makeup artistry by Akari Sugino.
