Numero Tokyo explores the intersection of high fashion and robotics in this editorial series, "What if...? 未来へタイムワープしてみたら……？." Led by photographer and creative director Jumbo Tsui, the project positions model Mona Kawasaki within urban and industrial landscapes alongside autonomous machines, creating a narrative that contrasts human style with futuristic elements. The series transitions between natural light, overcast settings and high-contrast, gritty nightlife scenes. Aika Kiyohara handles fashion styling, with hair by Tomi Kono and makeup by Yumi Endo. The production utilizes techniques such as direct flash to lean into a raw, documentary-inspired aesthetic, set against the backdrop of highways, transit infrastructure, and stark concrete urban environments.
