Holiday 2024 Ad Campaign

Description

For the Louis Vuitton Holiday 2024 campaign, creative directors Charles Levai and Kevin Tekinel have orchestrated a surrealist voyage that masterfully blurs the lines between heritage craftsmanship and whimsical escapism. Captured through the lens of photographer Julien Martinez Leclerc, the campaign leans into a cinematic aesthetic, positioning iconic monogrammed trunks and luxury accessories within a fantastical, carnival-inspired universe. Across a series of vibrant vignettes, models including Angelina Kendall, Awar Odhiang, and Hejia Li inhabit a world defined by ornate, stylized carousel creatures—ranging from cheetahs to snails—set against shifting, atmospheric backdrops that span from twilight ocean horizons to snowy arctic landscapes. The project utilizes a sophisticated mix of studio strobe lighting and live-action technique to achieve a polished, high-fashion finish, while strategically integrated 3D render and CGI elements elevate the narrative, creating a dreamlike, festive tension. With styling by Victoria Sekrier and precision beauty work from hair stylist Karim Belghiran and makeup artist Aurore Gibrien, the campaign treats every product—from artisanal chocolates to signature fragrances—as a central protagonist. By blending editorial minimalism in product placement with the maximalist energy of a surreal fairground, Louis Vuitton succeeds in framing its seasonal gifting collection as an essential piece of a larger, global mythos, capturing the spirit of the holidays with unparalleled visual flair and technical ambition.
