KFC: Finger Lickin' Good
Jun 2024
KFC’s 'Finger Lickin' Good' campaign addresses the current limitations of AI image generation, leaning into the digital phenomenon of glitchy hand anatomy. The spot navigates the nuances of modern digital culture by presenting a satirical look at internet-generated visuals and their characteristic imperfections. Developed in collaboration with Leo Burnett Chicago, PXP, and PXP Studios, the project shifts between simulated social media interfaces and news articles. The narrative culminates in a deliberate play on the brand's heritage, featuring a manipulated portrait of Colonel Sanders. The production utilizes live-action technique and slow motion to deliver a polished, playful commentary on automated image creation.
