KENZO Pre-Spring 2027

May 2026
The Kenzo Pre-Spring 2027 campaign marks a refined exploration of functional luxury, expertly captured through the lens of photographer Linus Morales. This fashion campaign breathes life into a diverse wardrobe of workwear-inspired staples and elevated denim, set against the raw, tactile backdrop of a rustic, minimalist studio space. By leaning into editorial minimalism, the project emphasizes the intersection of utilitarian design and sartorial sophistication, using soft natural light to highlight the intricate textures of raw denim, structured canvas, and delicate floral embroidery. Styling by Marq Rise ties the collection together through a masterclass in layering, where varsity-style bomber jackets and varsity-patch sweaters meet soft knitwear and pleated tailoring. The aesthetic is grounded and candid, allowing models Abas Abdirazaq, Dhyani Kandagama, Max Fauviau, and Tara van Eck to embody a calm, modern utility that balances industrial grit with high-fashion polish. With beauty direction provided by Yuji Okuda for hair and Satoko Watanabe for makeup, the imagery channels a clean, timeless energy that feels both lived-in and meticulously curated. The campaign effectively captures the evolving narrative of the house, where the ruggedness of the workwear aesthetic meets the poetic precision of Kenzo's design language, resulting in a cohesive series of portraits that celebrate craft, silhouette, and the quiet beauty of everyday wear.
