Kenzo
Kenzo Luna Year

Jan 2026
The Kenzo Luna Year project leans into an arresting monochromatic aesthetic, anchored by an intense, high-saturation red backdrop that unifies a diverse collection of portraits and product stills. This fashion campaign serves as a visual exploration of house heritage, deftly integrating archival influences like the 'France 1970 Paris' motif with contemporary graphic design. Photographer Fabien Montique leverages controlled studio strobe lighting to create crisp, even illumination that elevates the textures of knitwear, quilted outerwear, and leather accessories, while simultaneously highlighting the sharp features of models Camp Schill and Jiahui Meng. The editorial approach relies on symmetry and minimalism, allowing the bold, stylized horse emblems and intricate floral embroidery to take center stage against the vivid color field. By layering structured collared shirts under crewneck sweaters and abstract-patterned jackets, the styling emphasizes a clean, layered silhouette that feels both modern and rooted in the brand's storied DNA. Techniques such as these result in a high-impact, graphic visual narrative that feels cohesive and deliberate. Through the lens of careful composition and precise creative direction, the series transforms everyday staples—from cotton t-shirts to functional card holders—into objects of desire, successfully maintaining a polished, editorial minimalism that reinforces Kenzo's identity as a leader in the global luxury fashion market.
