The Issey Miyake Pleats Please Spring/Summer 2024 collection campaign brings the brand's signature textile innovation to the forefront through a series of minimalist studio portraits. The imagery emphasizes the sculptural quality of the micro-pleated fabric, capturing the garments in motion against clean, neutral backgrounds to highlight their fluid silhouettes and vibrant color palettes. Photographed by Amit, the project features dynamic styling by Kanako B Koga, which integrates playful, expressive poses with a focused aesthetic. The campaign relies on soft, diffused lighting to accentuate the geometric dimensions of the collection’s accordion pleats. Hair styling by Yuji Okuda and makeup by Satoko Watanabe maintain a polished, natural look that complements the vivid, abstract patterns and tonal layering of the ensembles. The project features models including Mouna Fadiga, Chen Xi, Marylou Moll, and Cassandra van der Stelt, with casting direction by Barbara Blanchard.
