For the Pleats Please Fall/Winter 25 campaign, Issey Miyake explores the kinetic potential of its signature micro-pleated textiles. Photographed by Betina du Toit, the series captures models in a range of dynamic, high-speed poses, with fabric silhouettes reacting fluidly to airborne movement against a stark, high-key white background. The imagery leans into a minimalist aesthetic, prioritising the sculptural qualities of the garments. By employing freeze-motion techniques, the campaign highlights the accordion-like architecture and intricate texture of the collection, with styling from Yumiko Hikage and makeup by Rebecca Wordingham reinforcing the expressive, clean-lined silhouettes. Casting was directed by Barbara Blanchard, featuring models Alanna Archibald, Hella Thomale, Lilou Le Sergent, Lydia Celesta, and Seng I U.
