The Pleats Please Issey Miyake 2025 campaign explores the intersection of movement and textile design. Captured by photographer Betina du Toit, the project highlights the brand's signature pleated garments, emphasizing their sculptural form through a series of dynamic, action-oriented frames. Featuring models Akolde Meen, Edwina Preston, and Sculy Mejia, the fashion editorial utilises high-contrast lighting and clean, studio-based compositions to document the collection. The imagery focuses on the structural depth of the fabric, complemented by hair styling from Yumiko Hikage and makeup by Rebecca Wordingham. The production was supported by casting director Barbara Blanchard and manicurist Chloe Desmarchelier, maintaining a consistent minimalist aesthetic throughout the visual series.
