Human
Brand Identity

Jul 2026
Human pushes the boundaries of conventional branding by embracing a gritty, authentic aesthetic that favors raw reality over polished perfection. This brand identity project navigates the intersection of commercial presence and documentary-style storytelling, using a visual language that feels tactile and intentionally unrefined. By grounding its identity in the mundane textures of urban life—such as worn cards resting on tiled floors and vibrant, advertisement-clad delivery trucks stationed against the skeletal backdrop of construction scaffolding—the work channels a sense of reportage that feels refreshingly grounded. The execution leans into natural light to capture an honest, unvarnished atmosphere, moving away from high-gloss corporate imagery to create a connection that is palpably human. Behind this cohesive vision, the design work by Office of Overview serves as the backbone, while the technical contributions from Matt Gilbert on 3D elements and Adam King on motion design infuse the project with a dynamic, contemporary edge. These assets integrate live-action technique to bridge the gap between static print and moving media, ensuring that the brand lives organically within its environment. The result is a bold, narrative-driven identity that eschews the sterility often associated with corporate branding, opting instead for a candid, textured, and deeply evocative presence that commands attention through its sheer visual honesty.
