H&M
Studio Essential A/W 25

Sep 2025
The H&M Studio Essential A/W 25 collection presents a series of clean, high-fashion editorial portraits focused on modern minimalism and tailored silhouettes. Captured in a studio setting, the work channels a polished aesthetic through an emphasis on tactile fabrics—including heavy ribbed knits and sleek leather—balanced against crisp white and neutral grey backdrops. The imagery relies on controlled lighting techniques, alternating between soft, diffused illumination to define drapery and sharp, direct flash to create crisp structural shadows. Photographer Sarah Blais leads the visual execution, collaborating closely with fashion director Hilda Sandström and fashion editor Lisa Lindqwister. The campaign features model Sydney Stabreit, whose styling integrates sleek hair by Yuji Okuda and natural makeup by Giulia Cigarini. The project also features contributions from art director Emelie Engstrand and casting director Jessica Martinelli to maintain a cohesive, contemporary minimalist look.
