Flore Directory: Brand Identity
Feb 2021
The brand identity for Flore Directory establishes a cohesive visual language across digital and print applications. The project balances commercial utility with editorial charm, utilising a warm, minimalist aesthetic punctuated by playful illustration. Creative work by graphic designer Jamie Rickett and illustrator Alice Bowsher anchors the visual system, which features a palette of golden tones, olive greens, and clean, serif-driven typography. Designed for ease of navigation, the interface layout incorporates interactive category filters and a structured grid to manage daily recommendations. The project extends across varied assets, including custom packaging with screen-printed icons, mobile interface mockups, and collaborative posters that layer editorial photography with hand-drawn motifs. Photography by Drew Wheeler, Jacq Harriet, and Tami Aftab provides a textural quality to the digital design, while web development by Richard Cooke and printing by Duplikat Press round out the execution.
