Finnish Association of Architects
Brand Identity

Nov 2023
The Finnish Association of Architects’ new brand identity utilizes a minimalist aesthetic to establish a visual language rooted in geometry and architectural form. The project synthesizes clean typography, a nuanced neutral palette, and bold color accents to create a cohesive system across both digital and physical touchpoints. Graphic designer Sofia Pusa led the development of the identity, which includes stationery suites, digital mockups, and large-scale transit advertising. The visual system is defined by its precise structural layouts and the integration of abstract iconography, which channels a professional yet artistic sensibility. To capture the identity’s tactile nature, photographer Atte Tanner and set designer Jenni Juurinen collaborated on a series of still-life compositions. These elements leverage natural light and raw building materials—such as concrete, terracotta, and metal mesh—to bridge the gap between commercial branding and architectural composition.
