Description

Family Style explores the intersection of collective movement and static stillness in its latest editorial campaign, Together. Tasked with capturing the essence of modern luxury fashion, photographer Benjamin Werner crafts a series of striking high-contrast black and white images that demand a second look. By utilizing a mix of studio strobe and natural light, the project places diverse groups of models within decontextualized environments—from simulated subway interiors and park benches to sterile, airport-style waiting rooms—against stark, high-key white backdrops. This deliberate choice of setting highlights the structured apparel and sculptural garments selected by fashion editor and stylist Jessica Diehl, whose keen eye for texture and silhouette brings a narrative weight to the minimalist frames. The work is bolstered by the meticulous grooming of hair stylist Hiroki Kojima and makeup artist Erin Green, while the cohesive yet distinct personas of the models are curated by casting director Anita Bitton. Through these editorial portraits, the campaign leans into a sense of collective presence, transforming mundane transit-inspired scenes into a polished, rhythmic study of contemporary fashion. Every frame prioritizes clean lines and graphic compositions, successfully stripping away visual clutter to focus entirely on the interplay between the subjects and their high-fashion attire. The resulting imagery is both timeless and strikingly precise, offering a refined vision of shared humanity within the exacting, often monochromatic lens of high-end editorial photography.
