SPELLBOUND BEAUTY is a series of beauty editorial portraits for Family Style, focusing on intricate cosmetic artistry and high-contrast studio aesthetics. Creative director Peter Philips and photographer David Ferrua collaborate to deliver a collection of macro, vertical compositions that center on precise makeup application, ranging from graphic pigment sweeps and sequin embellishments to polished, high-gloss finishes. Featuring styling by Kyanisha Morgan and hair by Sebastien Bascle, the project leans into a clean, minimal aesthetic. The imagery highlights the tactile nature of beauty products through extreme macro detail, utilizing beauty light and sharp focus to capture everything from metallic lattice manicures by Sylvie Vacca to sculpted hair and vibrant eye shadow combinations.
