Family Style: Howl

Howl is a fashion editorial series for Family Style that explores avant-garde silhouettes and sculptural tailoring. Featuring model Beauïse Genç, the project leans into a minimalist studio aesthetic, utilizing clean directional lighting to highlight the intricate textures and layered construction of the garments. Photographer Ladislav Kyllar captures the series with a focus on sharp, dynamic movement, often set against neutral seamless backdrops. Fashion editor and stylist Tim Tobias Zimmermann curates a collection of structured, asymmetric, and voluminous pieces, supported by hair styling from Kota Suizu and makeup by Claire Urquhart. Casting for the editorial was directed by Noah Shelley, with several images utilizing monochrome and analogue film techniques to emphasize the interplay between form and fabric.
