Elbazin Magazine presents The Sky Between Us, a fashion editorial series that explores movement and atmosphere within vast, rugged landscapes. Shot across open meadows and rocky terrain, the project leans into a cinematic aesthetic, frequently employing grainy analogue film techniques and high-contrast monochrome grading to emphasize the textural interplay between structured garments and organic environments. The visual narrative, led by photographer and creative director Lilli Waters, balances intimate close-up portraiture with wide-angle landscape shots. The styling, curated by Janai Anselmi with hair and makeup by Shella Ruby Martin, focuses on layered tailoring and tactile fabrics that respond to the natural elements. Creative director Henry King and prop stylist Henry King further anchor the series with minimalist objects, including kites and structural framing, which interact with the subjects to create a sense of scale and thoughtful, contemplative motion. The execution captures the subjects through dynamic silhouettes, soft natural light, and the occasional use of chiaroscuro lighting.
