Elbazin Magazine: The Sky Between Us

The Sky Between Us is an evocative fashion editorial series produced for Elbazin Magazine. Photographed by Lilli Waters, who also served as creative director alongside Henry King, the project explores the interplay between structured sartorial forms and the vast, weathered landscapes of an open meadow. The imagery leans into a cinematic, observational narrative, utilizing analogue film techniques and grainy, high-contrast monochrome grading to emphasize raw texture. Stylist Janai Anselmi brings a tactile sensibility to the layered menswear and womenswear, with hair and makeup by Shella Ruby Martin complementing the minimalist, atmospheric aesthetic. Captured amidst rocky outcrops and rolling hills, the production prioritizes scale and mood. Through the use of natural light and geometric framing, the work creates a dialogue between the organic silhouettes of the subjects and the rugged terrain, punctuated by moments of dynamic movement with kite-based props.
